Centipede is a dense, slow-growing grass that excels in full sun. If you're looking for a low-maintenance, weed-resistant grass, look no further than Pennington Centipede Grass Seed and Mulch. This grass thrives in areas that receive 8 plus hours of full sun and is weed-resistant. Plant in the early spring, and in 30 days this drought-tolerant grass will begin to boast a beautiful green color with a medium texture. This 5-pound bag covers up to 2,000 square feet for new lawns. While most grass seed companies buy their seed on the open market, we are the only major grass seed company that works directly with a network of dedicated growers. Built on decades of trust and integrity, our relationships with seed growers and their families now span multiple generations. At Pennington, we know our seed and the farmers who grow it. From field to final product, that's the Pennington way.
