As part of a complete drainage system, the catch basin drain directs water to drain pipes, which carry the water to a discharge point downstream such as a pop-up emitter, or to percolate into the ground with a dry well or infiltration trench. Use the one-outlet catch basin alone or start a series of connected basins positioned downstream.
