Mobil 1 Extended Performance Oil Filters are built with strong, durable components and are tested and proven to protect 2X as long as auto manufacturers recommended oil change intervals. Enhanced nitrile gasket remains pliable to help prevent oil leaks while a durable anti-drain back valve protects against dry starts. Durable, heavy-duty filter canister withstands 9X the normal vehicle oil system operating pressure. These are just some of the advanced technologies that go into making an oil filter that can provide proven protection for up to one full year or 20,000 miles.
