Great for outdoor plants including flowers and vegetables, these planting tablets are specially formulated with calcium and help to jump start root growth in the first 30 days after transplanting to a new container or an in-ground garden. These plant fertilizer tablets help whenever you're moving plants to their permanent home, whether your in-ground garden or a new container. To apply, begin by digging a hole that's slightly bigger than your plant's root ball. Drop the recommended number of tablets in the hole (refer to the table on the packaging) and cover it with a thin layer of soil. After planting, water carefully to moisten the soil around the plant.
