This potting mix contains a quick-release natural fertilizer and also feeds plants for up to 2 months. Made with responsibly sourced peat, this locally crafted potting medium also contains upcycled green waste. To apply, partially fill your pot with potting mix. Loosen the plant's root ball and place in the soil. Add more mix, covering plant roots, and press down lightly. To finish, water the plant thoroughly and let it drain. To avoid soil compaction and replenish nutrients, container plants should be repotted bi-annually with fresh potting soil. This 16 qt. bag of potting mix fills one 12-inch container (amounts may vary based on the size of the root ball).
