MEECO'S RED DEVIL pellet stove creosote destroyer helps prevent and remove dangerous creosote buildup in pellet stoves. These pellet are not normal pellet fuel, they are an innovative solution to effectively clean the combustion chamber and flue of a stove. This 2.2 pound package of pellets is designed to be used every four weeks, but can be used on a more frequent basis if necessary. For more frequent cleaning, burning a half pound of pellets each week is recommended. Burner and fan should be turned down to the lowest setting when adding the pellets to the hopper or burner. Pellets will emit a blue flame when they start burning, indicating the fumigation process. When the blue flame goes out, the fan should be turned to the highest setting to dissipate any divertible materials. *
