The DeWalt power tool lanyard features double action, swiveling aluminum carabiners on both ends to tether tools up to 15 lbs. The large carabiners are designed to easily connect to lanyard-ready power tools on one end and anchorage points such as beams and rails on the other. Once connected it becomes a key component to a tethering system intended to prevent accidental drops that can lead to injuries and property damage.
