Butyl deck flash barrier will self-seal around nails and fasteners to prevent water infiltration, wood rot, and lumber breakdown. The product comes packaged in individually wrapped and labeled rolls. Cut the deck flash barrier to the proper length and center it over the intended area of application. Remove the release paper and press it into place. To maximize adhesion, press with a small hand roller. When overlapping material from end to end, a minimum of a two-inch overlap is required.
